1. The drill bit shall be packed in a special packing box to avoid vibration and collision.
2. When using, take out the drill bit from the packing box and put it into the spring chuck of the spindle or the tool library for automatic replacement of the drill bit. Put it back into the packaging box after use.
3. Non contact measuring instruments such as tool microscope shall be used to measure the diameter of the drill bit, so as to avoid the cutting edge contacting with the mechanical measuring instrument and being damaged.
4. Some CNC drilling machines use positioning rings, while some CNC drilling machines do not use positioning rings. If PCBA OEM OEM OEM uses positioning rings, the depth positioning during installation must be accurate. If positioning rings are not used, the elongation of the drill bit installed on the main shaft must be adjusted to be consistent. Multi spindle drilling machines should pay more attention to this point, and the drilling depth of each main shaft should be consistent. In case of inconsistency, the drill bit may drill to the table or cannot drill through the circuit board, resulting in scrapping.
5. At ordinary times, a 40x stereomicroscope can be used to check the wear of the cutting edge of the drill.
6。 The concentricity of the spindle and the spring chuck and the clamping force of the spring chuck shall be frequently checked. Poor concentricity will cause the small-diameter drill bit to break and the hole diameter to be large. Poor clamping force will cause the actual rotation speed to be inconsistent with the set rotation speed, and the chuck and the drill bit will slip.
7. The clamping length of the fixed shank drill on the spring chuck is 4-5 times of the diameter of the drill shank before it can be clamped firmly.
8. Always check the spindle presser foot. The contact surface of the presser foot shall be horizontal and vertical to the main shaft without shaking, so as to prevent drill break and deviation during drilling.
9. The dust collection effect of the drilling machine is good. The dust collection air can reduce the temperature of the drill bit and take away the dust to reduce the high temperature caused by friction.
10. The base plate stack, including the upper and lower base plates, shall be firmly positioned and leveled in the one hole one slot positioning system on the workbench of the drilling machine. When using the adhesive tape, it is necessary to prevent the drill bit from sticking chips on the adhesive tape, which may cause difficulty in chip removal and drill break.
11. When ordering the drill bit from the manufacturer, 4% of the drill bit shall be sampled to check whether it meets the requirements. And 100% of them were examined for notches, scratches and cracks with a 10-15 times microscope.
12. The timely regrinding of the drill bit can increase the use and regrinding times of the drill bit. The PCB board can prolong the life of the drill bit and reduce the production cost and expense. Generally, the wear depth shall be less than 0.2mm within the full length of the two main cutting edges measured by a tool microscope. When regrinding, remove 0 25mm。 The ordinary fixed shank drill can be reground for 3 times, and the shovel bit can be reground for 2 times. The drilling quality and accuracy will be reduced if the grinding is too much, and the finished circuit board will be scrapped. Excessive grinding has the opposite effect.
13. When the wear diameter is reduced by 2% compared with the original due to wear, the drill bit shall be scrapped.
14. Setting of bit parameters in general, the manufacturer provides a parameter table of the drilling speed and down speed of the drill bit produced by the factory. This parameter is only for reference. In fact, the process personnel need to obtain a bit speed and down speed parameter according to the actual situation through actual use. Generally, the actual parameters are different from the reference parameters, but the difference is not too much.
